St. Paul's Soup Kitchen

In 8th grade through our middle school, we had a toiletry drive, donating all of the supplies to St. Paul’s Soup Kitchen. We sent home a flyer to everyone in our grade asking for items that could be found in their bathroom closets. They included (all travel size): soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, washcloths, etc. The three of us had a cupcake stand raising $180, which we brought to the dollar store. We purchased so many toiletries that they had to close down an aisle for us! Then, after collecting everything from our classmates, we made “I Care Kits” including a package of each supplies. A few days later, we delivered these kits to the reciprocals of St. Paul’s. We also helped serve the meal that night.
